Pittsburgh Moto Issue 13
Alexa and I covered some ground in this latest installment. We spent time in the city’s South Side neighborhood with a fresh Sportster chopper. In Butler, we had a closer look at a steampunk-style build made of random household items ranging from a sewer pipe to a candlestick. West of Pittsburgh in Hookstown, Pennsylvania, we photographed a garage-built panhead chopper that looks like it was pulled straight from the 1970s.
This issue also features a stunning BSA Goldstar with a racing history, the Greasy Dozen shovelhead build from Dan Swiderski, a wild Yamaha RD250 dragster with an interesting backstory, and coverage of the first annual No Coast Campout. In addition, we’re excited to include a look into two motorcycle shops in the McKeesport area—one is an up-and-coming garage that’s leaning into the creative side of bikes and the other has become a go-to spot for performance and service, impressively passing its ten-year mark in business.
Things keep rolling along, and with Glory Daze around the corner, we’re pumped to introduce issue Number 13. Isn’t that supposed to be a lucky number? We’ll see. Head to pittsburghmoto.com to get a copy or subscribe.
