Postindustrial gave me the opportunity to illustrate the cover of their Summer 2022 issue around an article about digital nomads written by Kecia Bal. With much of the article's focus on a Chicago couple relocating to wild and wonderful West Virginia (my birth state), I mixed together a scenic New River Gorge idea with classic West Virginia icons that include the state bird, a Northern Cardinal, and the state flower, a Rhododendron.
