Art Print Information
-
Most prints mailed in the US or Canada are sent in heavy-duty shipping tubes with a protective plastic sleeve.
-
Remove your print from the shipping tube. Lay it on a flat surface, and place some books or magazines on top for a few hours to flatten. Keep the print in the clear protective sleeve during this time to avoid any markings or blemishes.
-
When choosing a frame with glass, it is recommended to use UV protective non-glare glass (sometimes referred to as museum glass). Make sure your hands are clean before handling the print.
-
Giclée printing (a French term pronounced Gee’clay) is a high-quality spray process using special light-fast inks on archival paper. If treated properly, the print will last a lifetime.
